Yes, and it is included in the price. Rico is our house manager and comes every day from 8:00-3:30. He comes by boat from North Caicos and can often bring extra groceries should you run out.

Is a Private Chef Included?

Yes. Joanna is an incredible chef and will cook every meal for you. People love her and her food and we know you will appreciate her as much as we do.

Is there a car or golf cart I can use?

There are no cars on Parrot Cay and our golf cart is not available for guest use.

What airport should i fly into?

PLS is the airport code for Providenciales Airport. PLEASE ARRIVE DURING THE DAY as the private boat taking you to Parrot Cay can only sail during the day.

Can private planes fly into providenciales?

Yes, several private flights arrive daily into PLS. Please find info here.

Once we land, how do we get to parrot cay?

A driver from KARS VIP SERVICES will be waiting for you in an SUV outside the airport. They will drive you to Leeward (20 mins) where Dedrick Handfield and his private boat will be waiting to take you on a 20 min boat ride to our private dock at our house on Parrot Cay.

How much is a transfer to Parrot Cay?

Your airport taxi is $150 one way (please pay your driver directly). Your boat transfer is $600 one way. Please pay Dedrick directly.

Is there another way to get to Providenciales for the day other than private boat?

Yes. The TCI ferry regularly goes back and forth from North Caicos to Providenciales. We are a 3 minute boat ride from Sandy Point and then a 15 minute car ride to the ferry at Bellfield Landing on North Caicos. We can arrange your transfers back and forth to the ferry. The cost of the TCI ferry is $35 one way, $65 round trip.

Can you pack food, drinks, and other goods to bring with you when you fly?

Yes, to an extent. Dry goods and non-perishables can be put into a checked bag. You can also pack frozen meat in a cooler to be checked. Duty-free liquor is fine.

How can I buy groceries in the Turks & Caicos?

We buy all of your groceries ahead of time and have them waiting at the house for us. Joanna have already cooked your welcome meal as you will have agreed on a menu and grocery list ahead of time.

Is there air conditioning upstairs?

No. The floor plan upstairs is open and the angle of the house invites a steady, cooling breeze all day. We do have ceiling and table fans spread out as well. The fresh air is invigorating and healing and we have never had complaints about too much heat.

Are there extra beds or mattresses at the house?

Yes, We have 2 daybeds in the upstairs great room and 2 single inflatable blow up mattresses.

Should i bring cash or are there ATMs?

There are no ATMs on Parrot Cay. We recommend bringing cash for: tips (house manager/housekeeper/chef/masseuse/driver/boat), airport taxi, and Mac Campbell (if you would like a tour of North Caicos). There are ATMs on Providenciales but we find that once guests arrive on Parrot Cay they hardly leave. If you run out of cash, no problem. You can Venmo us.

Is The Lodge affiliated with COMO Parrot Cay Resort?

No. Though we share the island with COMO Parrot Cay Resort, we are a private residence and the COMO Resort facilities and amenities are completely separate and for their guests only.
