Built over the sea and surrounded by water, The Lodge was designed for slow, easy island living. The open-air upper level catches the constant easterly breeze, with wide decks, two Balinese daybeds, and indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the water.
Downstairs, two king suites open onto screened patios, while a third bedroom with twin beds has its own private deck. Even the shower is part of the experience—most guests skip the indoor one for the private stone shower outside.
A short path leads to your own stretch of white-sand beach and a calm turquoise channel made for kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing and exploring.
But what makes The Lodge special isn't something you can put on an amenities list. There's a simplicity here that makes everyone slow down. After decades of families gathering, exploring, eating and laughing together, the house has a history you can feel.
